Icemageddon

So last night it came in and rained enough to cause panic in Oklahoma. I had the pleasure of staying home with the boys due to the thick layer of ice on the roads. This gave me some time to get caught up on my graphic design work and get out my favorite crock pot. Today I started a big pot of potato soup. It was oh so yummy. Just some potatoes, bacon I baked this morning, onion flakes, a pint of sour cream, and a small tub of Philadelphia Cream Cheese. I also baked/toasted some hamburger buns that needed to be eaten before they went bad.

6 large washed and chopped potatoes


1 Pint of Sour Cream


1 small tub of Philadelphia Cream Cheese


1 TBS of onion flakes


4 slices of bacon, chopped


1/2 gallon of milk


Cook on low for 6 hours or until potatoes are soft.


The one thing I simply can not resist.


1/3 cup of Hellmann's Real Mayo


1 good squeeze of the Chunky Garlic


1 small squeeze of lemon juice


1/2 tsp of garlic salt


1/4 tsp of lemon pepper season


Spread on the bread, cover with cheese and bake at 350 for 10 min.
